blob deployment on azure

Jul 14, 2009 at 8:54 AM

Hi, I just want to know how to deploy php blob program on Azure. Actually, PHP SDK is working fine on locally (create, delete, put, get blob etc.)  with just  $storage=new Microfost_Azure_Storage_Blob(). But when I deploy it on azure, it is not working. And I showed account, key, and blob url on my index.php. Again it is not working just showing 500 Internal server error. What went wrong here. I appreciate any help!

index.php

<?php
require_once 'Microsoft/Azure/Storage/Blob.php';
$DEVSTORE_ACCOUNT="devstoreaccount1";
$DEVSTORE_KEY = "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx";  // blob storage primary key
$URL_DEV_BLOB = "something.blob.core.windows.net";

$storage = new Microsoft_Azure_Storage_Blob($URL_DEV_BLOB,$DEVSTORE_ACCOUNT,$DEVSTORE_KEY );

$result = $storage->createContainer('mycontainer');
echo 'Create Container name is: ' . $result->Name;

$result = $storage->listContainers();
$count = count( $result );
echo "Existing containers: " . $count;
?>

Hello,

ACCOUNT name should be "something" in my example, not "devstoreaccount1".

Thanks it helped me too.

Should URL_DEV_BLOB = "something.blob.core.windows.net";

be URL_DEV_BLOB = "blob.core.windows.net"; ?
